Welcome to the FamilyLenze web page (a member of LenzeNet) !

This site is designed to introduce you to the various educational resources available at FamilyLenze.org. In addition, on this page you will read all about classroom policies and procedures for all Mr. Lenze's classes at Garden City High School. The links to the left will bring you to specific courses and outside links of interest to Mr. Lenze!

Mr. Lenze's wishes to maintain a classroom environment which is productive and distraction free, therefore, I have created the following discipline plan for all of my courses.  When in my classroom, students will:

    1. Follow all directions given.
    2. Have all their supplies everyday. (pen, paper, text, homework,...)
    3. Be dismissed by the teacher not the bell.

Although I rarely have discipline problems, should a student break any of the above rules, the following consequences will occur:

    First offense:         Warning.
    Second offense:    Detention.
    Third offense:       Phone call home.
Fourth offense:     Student is sent to an administrator.

If a student is severely disruptive, he or she will be sent to an administrator IMMEDIATELY!!!

TARDY POLICY:    Any student not in his assigned seat before the bell rings is tardy.
A 5% bonus will be given to each student who is not tardy to my class during the course of the trimester.  This 5% will be added to the trimester grade and will go down one point for each time the student is tardy to my class.

First Tardy:             Verbal warning.  Loss of 1%
Second Tardy:        Counts as an absence (school policy. Loss of another 1%.
Third Tardy:           Loss of another 1%
Fourth Tardy:         Counts as a second absence. Loss of another 1%.
Fifth Tardy             Administrative referral & loss of another 1%
